“Caroline” was purchased new by a professor at the University of Texas. He and his wife drove her until 1968, when she was retired—but kept, safely stored in their garage. Years later a restoration was begun but never finished. Disassembled and derelict, we purchased her from their son in 2008. She had been in storage for forty years and had only 38,000 original miles! Within about a year we completed her restoration—bringing her back to life in her original Old English White—and she began making folks smile once again!

What’s in a name?

The name “Caroline” comes from our great-grandmother, and from our white cat, Caroline!
